Dr. Ilia Roubanis

Dr. Ilia Roubanis is a graduate of the European University Institute in Florence. He has taught in the School of Public Administration (Athens), the Department of Political Sciences of the University of Thrace (Kommotini) and has considerable experience in non-formal education environments. Moreover, he has significant research and policy development experience gained in think tanks such as the ICBSS (Athens), the Institute for Strategic and Development Studies (Athens) and the International Commission for Migration Policy Development (Vienna) and his capacity as an advisor to a Member of the European Parliament. His field of consulting expertise relates to Migration Policies, Transnational Networking, Cross-Sector Synergies, and Lobbying. His academic expertise includes area studies (Balkans, Black Sea), economic history and nationalism studies.
