Brigadier General (Ret.) Hezi Leder is a Director at A. Yakim Ltd. and Head of Y-insight.


Mr. Leder served as the Head of Intelligence at the Israel National Police HQ, responsible for providing intelligence support to the Police Commissioner and senior commanders; directed international intelligence and investigations operations; maintained contact with the local and international intelligence community; prepared the annual intelligence strategy and budget and monitored its implementation. He headed the process of modernizing and computerizing the police intelligence IT infrastructure.


Mr. Leder served as the Israel Police Attaché to the USA and Canada, where he was responsible for the relationship and cooperation with Local, State and Federal law enforcement, intelligence and anti-terror agencies, coordinated joint international intelligence operations and represented the Israel Police in professional organizations and conferences.


Previously Mr. Leder holds a rank of Major, as he served at the elite Signal Intelligence unit 8200.


Mr. Leder is a member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP). During 2007 – 2010 he chaired the Israel Competitive Intelligence Forum (ICIF). He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). He also served as a member of a two Ministerial Committees, formulating the concept of Public Security in Israel, and the economic consequences of Organized Crime in Israel.
